Nightcliff Bowls Club hosted the 2019 NT State Fours Championships on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of September.

Both men’s and ladies events saw late changes to the leadersboard

Congratulations to our new champions for both the Ladies and Men’s events.

The Ladies competition was a tight race with multiple changes to the top spot after the final match saw Bron Hagger’s team including Sioban Tootell, Lisa Hambour and Sez James overtake Jen Redshaw, Anita Rhooke, Narelle Trimble, and Helen Marris to win the championship.

The men’s final saw Quinton McGowan, Dennis Sloan, Terry Finn and Xavier McGowan take on the experience campaigners in Mark Malogorski, Trystan Smallacombe, Ian Smith, and Paul Rodin.

McGowan’s team took the lead early in the match before the experience of Malogorski’s team allowed them to take control and dominate scoring for the latter part of the final .
