2024 NT Fours Championships winners
The weekend saw the sectionals and then finals for the NT Fours Championships, with some great matches throughout, and some tight results.
Congratulations to Siobhan Tootell (skip), Elice Crisp (third), Sonia Martyn (second), and Sez James (lead) on winning the ladies titles after being the clear leaders in their section.
Tootell’s team beat Elisa Rigoni (skip), Anita Rhook (third), Tania Humphris (second), and Jodie Long (lead) by continuing their dominance winning 23/12.
Mark Hall again triumphed to take his second title in three years. Mark Hall (skip), Greg Wetzler (third), Jonard Galicinao (second), and Prakesh Kaylan (lead) played confidently throughout the championships winning their section undefeated before facing off with Trystan Smallacombe (skip), Ian Smith (third), Warren Corowa (second), and Paul Rodin (lead) in the final.
The final was a very tight match with the lead changing throughout but Hall was able to make a small break in the final 3 ends to clinch the title. Final scores were 18/14 after 18 ends.
