2021 NT Over 60’s State Championships

Due to the large number of entries for 2020, the 2021 event has been extended to four days and will run from Friday June 11th and conclude on Monday June 14th.

The venue for the 2021 NT Over 60’s Championships is Darwin Bowls and Social Club.

All registered Northern Territory players aged over 60 as at June 4th 2021 are eligible to enter.

The sequence of events will be as follows:

• Mixed pairs – Friday June 11th
• Mens’and Ladies Pairs – Saturday June 12th 
• Men’s and Ladies Singles – Monday June 13th 
• Finals for all events will be held on Monday June 14th

All Pairs events: 14 ends and 3 bowl pairs

Pairs Finals: 14 ends

Singles: 17 shots up

Final: 21 shots up

The following formats will apply:

Mixed Pairs -Sectional Play followed by finals

Men’s and Ladies Pairs – Sectional Play followed by finals

Ladies Singles – Sectional Play followed by finals

Men’s Singles – Knockout

All players are required to at the venue ready for announcements by 8.00am each day.

Please note: In all sectional events where sections consist of 3 players, the winner of the first round will have the bye in the second round regardless of the draw published.
