2019 May Day Pairs
The May Day Pairs is traditionally organised and hosted by a different Club each year. This year the Darwin Bowls Club will be the host club. The event is over two days and is open to all bowlers. Format is Open Pairs 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 Number of ends to be determined. More information on how to enter and the conditions of play will be published as they are made available.
Northern Territory Indoor Championships
Darwin Bowls Club will be hosting the 2019 NT Indoor Championships.
This event is a qualifying event for the Australian Indoor Championships
to be held at Tweed Heads Bowls Club between August 26th to August 29th 2019.Both men's and womens events will be sectional and then knockout for finals. Format is sets play for both Men's and Women's events. 2 sets of 9 ends. Dead ends are to be respotted and play will continue. Tie breaker if required is 3 ends. All players are required for the card call at 8.30am. Roll up is 8.45 for 9.00am start. Players who have a bye in any round will be required to mark their section. The BA Logo and footwear policies are to be adhered to by all players.
2019 Australian Open
Gold Coast, Queensland June 1st to June 14th. Entries OPEN for the 2019 Australian Open! The countdown has begun for the world's richest open bowls event, with registrations officially opening today for the 2019 Australian Open. Any affiliated bowler across the globe can enter and strike a share of the $250,000 annual prize purse. The event is set to return to the sunny Gold Coast from June 1 to 14, with more than 2,000 bowlers expected to compete across the two weeks.
