New Midweek Pennant Competition
A brand new Midweek Pennant Competition will add another option for those looking for more bowls. The competition has been created in response to feedback that a longer pennant competition is what clubs were looking for. The option of midweek gives clubs and players a longer season and does not encroach on weekends, which are heavily booked with Club, State and Carnival events. The competition will initially have four clubs competing over 12 weeks with games staggered before and after the Carnival Season. Ladder leader after 12 rounds will advance directly to a Grand Final while last place will see their season finished. Second and Third will play off in a preliminary final for a spot in the Grand Final. The format will be 3 x Fours over 21 ends.
