Territory Pairs Champions
Darwin Bowls and Social Club hosted the 2023 Territory Pairs Championships with some top matches played throughout.
The Ladies saw an all Darwin final with Colleen Orr and Siobhan Tootell take out their third straight title beating Lynne Hayhow and Kathy Que Noy 20/11 in a hard fought final.
In the lead up to the final Orr and Tootell easily accounted for Shirley Campbell ( Darwin) and Antona Lai (Nightcliff), whilst Deb Vallance (Nightcliff) and Karen Lane (Darwin) had a tight battle with Hayhow and Que Noy, finishing 13/8 down after 18 ends.
The Men also saw an all-Darwin final with Trystan Smallacombe and Corryn Huddy winning over Jonard Galicinao and Prakesh Kalyan 21/9.
The Semi’s were also good matches to watch with Mark Diamond and Barry Orr losing to Galicinao and Kalyan 9/14, and Nightcliff’s Lee Farrell and Jock Hicks went down to Smallacombe and Huddy 9/20.
