2019 NT State Pairs Champions
The weekend brought a good field of teams to contend for the NT State Ladies and Men’s Pairs Championships with the finals held Sunday afternoon.
Darwin Bowls and Social Club hosted the event which saw Nightcliff’s Buster Quinlan team with Mal Trattles (Katherine) to win the Men’s State Pairs title after overcoming Darwin’s Johnno Carr and Mark Diamond.
The Ladies saw Colleen Orr team with Carolyn Smolski (Darwin) take on Catherine Farrell (Nightcliff) and Pat Gamble (Darwin). Orr and Smolski took an early lead in a tough match to win the title.
