Schraner and Orr section-leaders after Day 3 of World Champ of Champs

Lee Schraner and Colleen Orr have soared to the top of their respective sections following flawless performances on Day 3 of the 2018 World Champion of Champions.

Both Australians won all three of their matches which saw Schraner take an outright lead and Orr sit equal-first with Singapore’s Tammy Tham in Section 1.

Welshman Roger Jones had previously set the pace in Schraner’s section, but two losses to round out Day 3 allowed the opportunity for the Aussie to go a win ahead and usurp him in first-place.

New Zealand star Jo Edwards suffered defeat to Scotland’s Dee Hogan in her last match yesterday, which has her now sitting anxiously in fourth position in Orr’s section with four sectional matches to come.

The top two players from the four sections (Men’s and Women’s) will progress through to Saturday’s semi-finals.
