Bruce Fyfe and Colleen Orr win 2019 NT Champion of Champions
This years NT Champion of Champions was hosted by the Nightcliff Bowls Clubs with representatives from Katherine, Darwin, Nightcliff, Alice Springs and Humpty Doo Bowls Clubs.
Both mens and ladies events are singles events, played in a round robin format, 21 shots up.
Bruce Fyfe (Alice Springs) started out strongly beating Chris Parsonson (Humpty Doo) in his opening match and never looked back from that point winning all his matches and the championship.
Jason Wholohan (Nightcliff) and Mal Trattles (Katherine) has a gigantic battle on the rink next door in the opening match with Jason taking out the match 21/20, but was unable to overcome Bruce Fyfe in the second match losing 18/21 in another epic battle.
Colleen Orr (Darwin) also had to fight for the title but was able to win both matches against Leti Parsonson (Humpty Doo) and Bronwyn Chandler (Katherine) to take out the title.
Both Bruce and Colleen will head to Perth to compete in the Australian Champion of Champions in October.
